Owner Alison Roessler did not want just another fitness studio. She saw her studio as a giant living room, a home to the community. Keeping components from the existing building was important to her. Concrete walls were left raw and exposed. Stenciled trusses removed from the old roof as part of the shell building were repurposed as window frame, barn door, and reception desk.
